These brakes are offered in power-off types for double shaft motors and for installation
between a C-face motor and reducer or other drive device. Powerful permanent magnets
generate braking torque. The brakes release when voltage is applied to the coil,
countering the force of the permanent magnets. No power is required to stop or
hold a load.
